Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of housekeeping operations
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Versatility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- Finished high school
- Attended a program focused on vocational skills
- Proficient in English literacy
- Knowledgeable about housekeeping responsibilities on guest floors
- Skilled in working various shift timeframes including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Thorough knowledge of chemical utilization and room sanitation procedures
Job Duties
- Clean guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
- Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
- Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Respond promptly to guest requests
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of cleanliness
