Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must complete initial training course provided by LC Housekeeping before working in regulated environments
- Ability to read and understand written information including Corporate Quality Documents, Cross Divisional Operating Procedures, Safety Guidelines, and Departmental Instructions
- Must be able to complete accurate, legible GMP-compliant documentation including room attestations, work orders, and cleaning logs
- Ability to operate computers to complete compliance/technical training, download daily work instructions, document work performed, and sync data into the CMMS for GMP review and archiving

- Ability to read and comprehend corporate quality documents, operating procedures, and safety guidelines
- Capability to complete accurate and legible written records compliant with GMP
- Experience or ability to operate computers for compliance training and electronic documentation
- Successful completion of initial training course provided by LC Housekeeping prior to working in regulated environments at Abbott Lake County site
Job Duties
- Perform facility cleaning and support for manufacturing and research environments at Abbott Lake County
- Adhere to quality and regulatory requirements such as GMPs, SOPs, DEA, OSHA, DEP, and Abbott standards
- Execute regulated cleaning procedures daily in production, manufacturing support, and research laboratories, as well as common areas
- Perform cross-contamination cleaning in areas with radioactive or biohazardous materials and microbial control zones
- Prepare radioactive and biohazard housekeeping equipment for autoclaving or disposal
- Prepare floor and wall mops for autoclaving used in microbial controlled areas
- Monitor waste for radioactive contamination and identify biohazardous waste
- Pick and dispose of cold waste from various laboratories and common support areas
- Complete GMP documentation attestation logs, work orders, and training documents
- Operate handheld electronic documentation units for GMP compliance
- Prepare cleaning solutions based on GMP mixing instructions
- Apply microbial control cleaning techniques on walls, ceilings, and floors according to regulated cleaning frequencies
- Complete preventive maintenance work orders related to GMP cleaning requirements
- Operate various types of wet/dry battery and electric equipment
- Use electric and battery-powered floor scrubbers, sweepers, and burnishers
- Perform preventive maintenance on housekeeping equipment including battery maintenance, squeegee adjustments, air pressure, and filter checks
- Support recycling programs by staging and preparing materials for transportation
- Operate bailing and compacting equipment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
