Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of initial training course provided by LC Housekeeping
  • Ability to read and comprehend corporate quality documents, operating procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Ability to complete accurate and legible GMP-compliant documentation
  • Competence in operating computers and handheld electronic documentation units
  • Physical capability for continuous standing, walking, lifting more than 20 pounds, and use of cleaning equipment
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 percent of the time
  • Adherence to regulatory and safety standards including DEA, OSHA, and DEP

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend corporate quality documents, operating procedures, safety guidelines, and instructions
  • Ability to complete accurate and legible written records compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Competency in operating computers and handheld electronic documentation units for compliance and technical training
  • Successful completion of initial housekeeping training course provided by LC Housekeeping
  • Ability to follow GMP regulated cleaning frequencies and guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform continuous standing, walking, lifting, and use of cleaning equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Perform facility cleaning and support required for manufacturing and research environments
  • Adhere to quality and regulatory requirements including GMPs, SOPs, DEA, OSHA, DEP, and Abbott standards
  • Execute regulated cleaning procedures in production laboratories, manufacturing support laboratories, research laboratories, and common support areas
  • Perform cross contamination cleaning methods in areas with radioactive or biohazardous materials or microbial control
  • Prepare radioactive and biohazard housekeeping equipment for autoclaving or disposal
  • Monitor waste for radioactive contamination and identify biohazardous waste
  • Complete GMP documentation such as attestation logs, work orders, and training documents
  • Operate handheld electronic documentation unit to complete GMP documentation
  • Prepare cleaning solutions based on GMP regulated mixing instructions
  • Perform microbial control cleaning techniques on walls, ceilings, and floors as per GMP guidelines
  • Complete preventive maintenance work orders to meet GMP cleaning requirements
  • Operate wet and dry battery and electric cleaning equipment
  • Maintain housekeeping equipment including battery maintenance and filter checks
  • Support recycling programs by staging and preparing materials for transportation
  • Operate baling and compacting equipment
  • Perform occasional duties as required
