Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and bending
- patience and tact when working with elderly and disabled patients
- willingness to follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- ability to work as part of a team
Job Qualifications

- must have patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
- must be capable of performing the essential job functions and physical and sensory requirements for all job functions
Job Duties
- perform cleaning duties in assigned work areas as instructed according to the cleaning schedule using approved cleaning agents and equipment
- dust, damp wipe, spot clean, wash, sanitize, and polish fixtures, furnishings, and furniture including TVs, radios, pictures, feeding tables, light fixtures, shelves, chairs, tables, beds and bed frames, night stands, bed rails, and door-facing surfaces
- maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the facility
- follow established policies and procedures when cleaning
- ensure a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff
- report any maintenance or safety concerns to the housekeeping supervisor
