- high school diploma or GED preferred
- experience with housekeeping and/or long-term care preferred
- good verbal and written communication skills
- must be on a weekend rotation schedule
- ability to prioritize work based on Charter House or department needs
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- good manual dexterity

Job Duties
- cleaning residents independent living apartments weekly
- providing cleaning for Short-Term Rehabilitation Center unit, Supportive Living Center, Assisted Living Centers, and Guest apartments daily
- conducting resident safety security checks of apartments on weekdays or weekends
- removing trash, soiled linen, and recyclables from areas cleaned
- processing personal and Charter House linen within the building and organizing and delivering linen processed by outside contractor
- routinely using Universal Precautions and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- keeping work area and equipment clean and safe
