Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience with housekeeping or long term care preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on Charter House and department needs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good manual dexterity
- Willingness to work weekend rotation schedule

Job Duties
- Clean independent living apartments weekly
- Clean Short Term Rehabilitation Center unit, Supportive Living Center, Assisted Living Centers, and guest apartments daily
- Conduct resident safety and security checks of apartments on weekdays and weekends
- Remove trash, soiled linen, and recyclables from cleaned areas
- Process personal and Charter House linen within the building and coordinate delivery of linen processed by outside contractors
- Use Universal Precautions and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area and equipment
- Operate and clean housekeeping equipment according to department guidelines
- Provide custodial services including cleaning of public areas
