Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Prior health-care experience preferred
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary
  • Maintain professional working relationships
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines
  • Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks

Job Qualifications

  • Prior health-care experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing supplies, and mopping
  • Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of all assigned areas in compliance with laws and company standards
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, and visitors
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and issues
  • Follow all safety and infection control procedures
