Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality or housekeeping preferred
- Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks with attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
Job Duties
- Clean and upkeep designated sections of the hotel including meeting rooms, public areas, offices, restrooms, and conference rooms
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and shampoo carpets
- Clean windows and polish floors
- Handle waste disposal and ashtray cleaning
- Greet guests with a smile and show genuine hospitality
- Report necessary repairs or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
- Keep records of stock movement and assist with stock replenishment
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks and manage specific cleaning assignments
- Respond to guest requests and assist with sanitation of guest rooms as needed
