Job Requirements

  • Six months or more of related experience preferred
  • ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
  • ability to report and record maintenance requests
  • knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
  • basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
  • understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe, efficient use
  • sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties
  • ability to erect and stand on ladders up to 30 feet
  • ability to work with paint, cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in various forms
  • ability to paint, clean equipment, and operate motorized equipment
  • ability to work in dirty and dusty conditions
  • ability to perform various physical activities such as crouching, kneeling, shoveling, carrying, twisting, and working in confined spaces

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize assigned areas including locker rooms and restrooms
  • mop, dust, and remove trash
  • operate motorized and non-motorized cleaning equipment
  • report and repair maintenance issues as directed
  • ensure building security and report incidents
  • replace supplies such as soap and paper towels
  • set up furniture for events
  • maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
  • perform grounds keeping and seasonal lawn care
  • assist with laundry and other related maintenance tasks
