Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or more of related cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
- ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe application
- physical ability to perform duties including standing on ladders and handling cleaning equipment
- capacity to safely operate motorized cleaning machines
- ability to work flexible hours including part-time shifts
- reliable transportation to and from job site
- ability to report and document maintenance and repair needs
- commitment to following safety and operational protocols
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more of related experience preferred
- ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and documents
- ability to report and record maintenance requests
- knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
- understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe use
- physical strength and agility to perform essential duties including working at heights up to 30 feet
- ability to work with various chemical compounds and cleaning solutions
- capability to operate motorized equipment for maintenance tasks
- ability to work in conditions involving dirt and dust
- capacity to perform maintenance involving physical activities like crouching, kneeling, shoveling, carrying, and working in confined spaces
Job Duties
- Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas including locker rooms and restrooms
- mops, dusts, removes trash, and recycles according to daily schedules
- operates motorized and non-motorized cleaning equipment
- reports and documents needed repairs and carries out minor repairs as directed
- ensures building and property security during shifts and reports hazardous conditions
- replenishes supplies such as soap and paper towels
- sets up furniture for events
- stocks cleaning and maintenance supplies
- performs general upkeep related tasks such as window washing, lawn care, laundry, and painting
