Job Description

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months or more of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Basic understanding of upkeep and care of equipment
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe use
- Physical strength and agility to perform job duties
- Ability to work on ladders and at heights up to 30 feet
- Ability to use paint, cleaning chemicals, solvents, and cleaners
- Capability to perform maintenance activities including reaching, crouching, kneeling, shoveling, carrying, twisting, and working in confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more of related experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and documents
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests accurately
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Basic understanding of equipment upkeep and care
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals and their safe use
- Physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties
- Ability to work safely with paint, chemicals, and motorized equipment
- Ability to work in dusty and dirty conditions
Job Duties
- Cleans and sanitizes assigned areas including locker rooms, toilets, showers, sinks
- Mop, dust, remove trash, and recycle on a daily schedule
- Perform window washing, painting, vacuuming, and general cleaning duties
- Operate motorized and non-motorized maintenance equipment
- Record and report needed repairs and perform repairs as directed
- Ensure building and property security during shifts and report incidents
- Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies
- Set up furniture for events as needed
- Maintain stock of cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Perform grounds keeping and seasonal lawn care duties
