Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to comply with federal and state sanitation regulations
- Capable of performing physical work including lifting and prolonged standing
- Willingness to undergo criminal background check
- Reliable and punctual
- Effective communication skills

- Ability to follow established cleaning protocols and infection control standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees
- Perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs, as well as isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures
- Ensure that work and assigned areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times
- Wash and dry resident laundry and linen
- Deliver and put away all laundered items
- Properly use, store and maintain all cleaning and laundry equipment
- Label resident laundry accurately
