Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to comply with federal and state sanitation regulations
  • Capable of performing physical work including lifting and prolonged standing
  • Willingness to undergo criminal background check
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
  • Ability to follow established cleaning protocols and infection control standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees
  • Perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs, as well as isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures
  • Ensure that work and assigned areas are clean and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times
  • Wash and dry resident laundry and linen
  • Deliver and put away all laundered items
  • Properly use, store and maintain all cleaning and laundry equipment
  • Label resident laundry accurately
