Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- ability to follow federal and state infection control regulations
- capability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills

Job Duties
- maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, family members, and employees
- perform daily cleaning assignments, deep cleaning assignments for move-ins and move-outs, and isolation cleaning procedures according to infection control guidelines
- ensure that work areas and equipment are properly cleaned and stored before breaks and at the end of the day
- wash and dry resident laundry and linens, deliver and put away laundered items
- properly use, store, and maintain laundry equipment
- label resident laundry appropriately
