Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or grounds maintenance
- proven leadership experience managing a team
- ability to perform physical tasks related to groundskeeping
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- effective communication abilities
- willingness to work flexible hours including in emergencies or for special events
Job Qualifications
- experience in housekeeping or grounds management in commercial or institutional settings
- strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive team culture
- excellent organizational skills related to managing supplies, budgets, and schedules
- ability to handle hands-on tasks such as mowing and snow shoveling
- good interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively across departments
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
Job Duties
- oversee daily housekeeping and groundskeeping operations
- manage and schedule staff including three full-time housekeepers and two seasonal groundskeepers
- conduct regular inspections of facilities and outdoor areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- manage supply inventory and place orders to adhere to budget constraints
- coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance
- plan and oversee snow removal and other seasonal grounds activities
- mentor and support team members, providing guidance and adjusting priorities as needed
