Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Six months experience within housekeeping or conversion crew or setup preferred
  • Familiar with basic cleaning products tools and housekeeping practices
  • Maintain a drivers license or have willingness and ability to obtain for required equipment operation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate via radio
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings nights holidays and weekends as dictated by event activity
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive housekeeping and certain event setup tasks without immediate supervision
  • Ability to operate various cleaning machines and equipment within the center
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Maintain a professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in housekeeping or conversion crew or setup preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Familiar with basic cleaning products tools and housekeeping practices
  • Experience in similar facility setting preferred but not required
  • Maintain a drivers license or willingness and ability to obtain for equipment operation
  • Prior role in housekeeping custodial or facilities management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate via radio
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to perform routine and repetitive housekeeping and event setup tasks without immediate supervision
  • Ability to take direction and complete assigned tasks accurately and on time
  • Ability to operate various cleaning machines and equipment within the center
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently

Job Duties

  • Perform inspections of rooms public areas and event spaces for cleanliness safety and readiness
  • Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques safe equipment use and event setup procedures
  • Coordinate with other departments including Operations Engineering Food & Beverage Audio Visual IT and Event Management
  • Ensure adequate stock of cleaning materials and safe use of machinery
  • Handle guest or client concerns promptly and professionally
  • Set and strike tables chairs staging air walls barricades pipe and drape dance floors and other event related inventory
  • Sweep mop scrub wax vacuum clean all surfaces empty trash and operate trash and recycling compactors
  • Perform cleaning dusting and maintenance throughout the facility
  • Keep Supervisor and Manager informed on status of work review work orders and complete tasks timely
  • Maintain supply rooms and equipment orderly and use supplies as instructed
  • Assist with proper storage and cleaning of event related equipment
  • Perform deep cleaning housekeeping projects including carpet extraction floor stripping sanitization waste removal and window cleaning
  • Report equipment damages timely
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment storage rooms and other areas
  • Maintain inventory logs and department checklists
  • Maintain good effective relationships with staff
  • Adhere to all facility rules regulations safety programs policies and procedures
  • Work flexible hours including evenings nights holidays and weekends as needed
  • Perform other assigned duties
