Job Requirements

  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand English demonstrated
  • full-time availability for day, evening, and night shifts including alternating weekends
  • commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and infection control standards
  • physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
  • compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience preferred
  • one year of previous institutional cleaning experience preferably in hospital or hospitality environment
  • one year customer service experience
  • vocational training and certificate

Job Duties

  • perform housekeeping and related activities focused on patient exam and inpatient rooms, surgery, utilities, and general environment
  • demonstrate proficiency in basic cleaning skills used in various hospital areas
  • safely use chemicals, equipment, cleaning techniques, and infection control methods to maintain quality standards
  • communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • competently handle and remove medical and hazardous waste
  • maintain the physical environment of the hospital at high cleanliness standards from appearance and infection control perspectives
  • work assigned shifts including day, evening, and night with alternating weekends
