Job Duties
- Handle chemicals and solutions per departmental and safety standards efficiently
- Present department positively to visitors, patients, and staff
- Report equipment needing repair to supervisor promptly
- Use departmental scripting to identify self and inquire about additional service needs
- Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and patience when interacting with hospital personnel
- Clean all assigned areas following procedures, including disinfecting and sanitizing furniture
- Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and soap
- Clean and sanitize blood and body fluid spills
- Use personal protective equipment correctly
- Perform other duties as assigned and adapt to departmental demands
- Access medication storage areas for cleaning and maintenance
