Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Handle chemicals and solutions per departmental and safety standards efficiently
  • Present department positively to visitors, patients, and staff
  • Report equipment needing repair to supervisor promptly
  • Use departmental scripting to identify self and inquire about additional service needs
  • Demonstrate conflict resolution skills and patience when interacting with hospital personnel
  • Clean all assigned areas following procedures, including disinfecting and sanitizing furniture
  • Replenish supplies such as paper towels, toilet tissue, and soap
  • Clean and sanitize blood and body fluid spills
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly
  • Perform other duties as assigned and adapt to departmental demands
  • Access medication storage areas for cleaning and maintenance
