Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus but not required
  • On-the-job training will be provided
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the hotel including guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks such as vacuuming dusting mopping and removing trash
  • Handle laundry duties including washing drying folding and storing linens
  • Assist with room service delivery as needed
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues
  • Collaborate effectively with housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain a high level of physical stamina to meet the demands of the role
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure exceptional cleanliness and order
