Job Duties
- perform daily housekeeping functions in resident rooms and common areas
- clean and sanitize bathrooms, fixtures, floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings
- remove waste/trash, reline containers, and maintain a sanitary environment
- ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored
- complete terminal cleaning when residents are discharged or transferred
- collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry and linens
- treat stained or soiled items according to established procedures
- maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area
- distribute clean laundry to residents and departments daily
- follow infection control, universal precautions, and safety procedures
