Job Requirements

  • Open availability
  • Related work experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or sit for extended periods

  • Previous housekeeping or related experience preferred
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and procedures

  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Attend quickly to guest and other departmental requests
  • Identify and report preventive or maintenance problems in public areas or guest rooms
  • Place caution signs
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Respond to guest requests and organize furniture in rooms as required
  • Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas, including waste, food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
