Job Requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English
- Must comprehend verbal instructions and speak/reply in English
- Minimum 3 months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Ability to read, understand instructions, add and subtract numbers, and compare letters
- Capable of moving, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds individually
- Experience working safely with cleaning chemicals
- Ability to perform repetitive motions such as sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Floorcare experience preferred
Job Qualifications

- Analytical ability to follow instructions and perform basic math
- Ability to safely move and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties
- Receive cleaning assignments
- Request cleaning materials and supplies
- Mix cleaning solutions
- Load service cart and transport to work areas
- Clean furnishings, tile, fixtures, and equipment with germicidal solutions
- Scour and polish sinks, tubs, toilets, and mirrors
- Strip, clean, and make beds after patient dismissal
- Restock supplies of soap, tissues, and towels
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum and spot clean carpets
- Operate buffing and floorstripping equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on sanitation equipment
- Visually inspect areas after cleaning
- Return unused supplies and clean equipment
- Perform heavy-duty floor and carpet cleaning
- Wash, scrub, and disinfect walls, windows, and doors
- Segregate and dispose of refuse according to sanitation procedures
- Move furniture and equipment using dollies or handcarts
