Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility
  • clean resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, hallways, therapy areas, and common spaces
  • perform emergency cleaning as needed
  • dust, disinfect, and polish surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and equipment
  • sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain floors
  • assist with carpet cleaning and floor care
  • replace light bulbs, clean vents, remove lint from dryers, and support basic maintenance tasks
  • keep outdoor areas tidy, including entrances, patios, and walkways
  • replenish soap, towels, and other supplies
  • assist with room readiness for new admissions and discharges
  • follow infection-prevention procedures, including cleaning isolation rooms
  • ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored and maintained
  • respond to environmental service requests from residents and staff with professionalism and courtesy
