Job Duties
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment throughout the facility
- clean resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, hallways, therapy areas, and common spaces
- perform emergency cleaning as needed
- dust, disinfect, and polish surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and equipment
- sweep, mop, disinfect, and maintain floors
- assist with carpet cleaning and floor care
- replace light bulbs, clean vents, remove lint from dryers, and support basic maintenance tasks
- keep outdoor areas tidy, including entrances, patios, and walkways
- replenish soap, towels, and other supplies
- assist with room readiness for new admissions and discharges
- follow infection-prevention procedures, including cleaning isolation rooms
- ensure equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored and maintained
- respond to environmental service requests from residents and staff with professionalism and courtesy
