Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the position including lifting up to 55 pounds and performing tasks that require bending, twisting, and reaching
  • Willingness to comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish
  • Availability to work full-time shifts at the West Beverly Hills location
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar roles preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and safety procedures
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and protocols strictly
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong physical stamina and mobility
  • Customer service orientation
  • Basic problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and other department requests
  • Identify and report preventative or maintenance issues in public and guest room areas
  • Place caution signs as necessary
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Organize furniture in guest rooms as required
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas including waste, food trays, unclaimed newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete required safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain privacy of company information and protect company property
  • Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Assist the team in achieving common goals
  • Meet quality assurance standards
  • Move at required speeds including running, slow running, and walking
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects
  • Manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Perform physical tasks such as reaching overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, crawling, and moving through confined or elevated spaces
  • Lift, move, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds unaided and more than 55 pounds with assistance
  • Push and pull loaded maintenance carts and related equipment on inclined and uneven surfaces
  • Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended or frequent periods during the shift
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
