Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping experience is beneficial but not required

Job Duties
- Respond quickly to guest and other department requests
- Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public or guest room areas
- Place caution signs
- Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
- Respond to guest requests and arrange furniture in rooms as needed
- Remove items from corridors and transport to service areas including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash near housekeeping carts
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of company information and protect company property
- Support coworkers with dignity and respect
- Assist the team in achieving common goals
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards
- Move at the speed required to respond to work situations
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
- Manipulate various sized and weighted objects requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination
- Reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, dragging, and stooping
- Navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- Move on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
- Move up and down ladders, staircases, and service ramps
- Move, lift, transport and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds unassisted and more than 55 pounds with assistance
- Push and pull loaded maintenance carts and related machinery across varied surfaces
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended or frequent periods during shifts
- Perform reasonable additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
