Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds with or without assistance
  • Ability to work full time
  • Commitment to follow safety policies
  • Willingness to maintain professional appearance
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and on uneven surfaces
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to communicate in English and/or Spanish
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move objects up to 55 pounds

Job Duties

  • Respond quickly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Place caution signs to ensure safety
  • Arrange furniture in guest rooms as required
  • Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens, and garbage
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures and complete required safety training and certifications
