Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Ability to respond quickly to guest and departmental requests
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted and heavier with assistance
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Willingness to complete safety training and certifications
- Commitment to professional appearance and personal hygiene
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect company property
- Must be available to work full time
- Non-management position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience advantageous
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Physical ability to perform required duties
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Respond to guest requests promptly
- Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
- Place caution signs as needed
- Contact other departments for urgent repairs
- Organize and arrange furniture in guest rooms
- Remove items from hallways and transport them to service areas including waste and soiled linens
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment properly
