Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds and more with assistance
- Ability to follow safety and security policies
- Willingness to complete safety training and certifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work full time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must not be located remotely
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hospitality setting preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and materials
- Commitment to uphold company standards of service and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and department requests
- Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas and guest rooms
- Post caution signs to ensure safety
- Contact other departments for urgent repairs
- Deliver guest requests and set up furniture in guest rooms
- Remove items from hallways and transport debris, trays, linens, and trash to service areas
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
- Follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries
- Complete safety training and certifications
- Properly store flammable materials
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- Assist individuals with disabilities
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Support the team to achieve common goals
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier items with assistance
- Push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces
- Reach overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for defects
- Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- Use ladders
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
