Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and evenings
  • Physical capability to perform demanding tasks
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest and departmental requests promptly
  • Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas
  • Place caution signs as needed
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Organize and remove items such as waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, and soiled linens from corridors to service areas
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Adhere to company safety policies and report safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Support team members and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Follow The Ritz-Carlton Gold Standards in daily tasks
  • Physically handle objects weighing up to 55 pounds or more with assistance
