Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to follow safety protocols
  • strong communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to manage physical tasks such as lifting and moving furniture
  • teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • Respond quickly to guest and departmental requests
  • identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas and guest rooms
  • place caution signs appropriately
  • contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • arrange furniture in rooms as needed
  • remove items from hallways and transport to service areas including waste, room service trays, newspapers, dirty linens and trash near housekeeping carts
  • clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment
