- prior housekeeping background required
- ability to stand, sit, kneel, and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds
- good coordination and motor skills

Job Duties
- Responding quickly to guest and other department requests
- identifying and reporting preventive or maintenance issues in public and guest room areas
- placing caution signs
- contacting other departments directly for urgent repairs
- organizing furniture in guest rooms as required
- removing items from hallways and transporting them to service areas including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens, and trash
- cleaning, maintaining, and storing cleaning equipment
