Job Requirements
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
- able to reach overhead and below knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50lbs without assistance
- position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy
- valid driver’s license required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate standard cleaning equipment
- commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
- ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- basic problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues
Job Duties
- Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments
- delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
- identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- strip trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts
- ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms and villas
- cleans and maintains assigned buildings and areas daily
- uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors
- stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies
- welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
- interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
- contributes to team goals
- always follows company policies and safety procedures
