Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
  • able to reach overhead and below knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50lbs without assistance
  • position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy
  • valid driver’s license required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to operate standard cleaning equipment
  • commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
  • ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • basic problem-solving skills to identify maintenance issues

Job Duties

  • Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
  • identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • strip trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts
  • ensure correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in the rooms and villas
  • cleans and maintains assigned buildings and areas daily
  • uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors
  • stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies
  • welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
  • interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • contributes to team goals
  • always follows company policies and safety procedures
