Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to respond quickly to guest and departmental requests
  • Ability to identify and report maintenance and safety issues
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
  • Ability to work in confined or elevated spaces
  • Availability for full-time work
  • Compliance with uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or related roles preferred but not required
  • Ability to identify maintenance or safety issues
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Attend quickly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report preventive or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • Place caution signs where necessary
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Respond to guest requests and arrange furniture in rooms as needed
  • Remove items from corridors and transport to service areas including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens and trash near housekeeping carts
  • Clean, maintain and store cleaning equipment
