Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends
  • Physical ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines

Job Duties

  • Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments
  • Delivers guest requests and sets up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
  • Identifies and reports preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
  • Strips trash and dirty linen from assigned checkouts
  • Ensures correct inventory of pillows, duvet inserts, and toppers remain in rooms and villas
  • Cleans and maintains assigned buildings and areas daily
  • Uses heavy cleaning equipment such as floor polishers and carpet extractors
  • Stocks linen closets in assigned areas daily with linen and supplies
  • Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
  • Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
  • Contributes to team goals
  • Always follows company policies and safety procedures
