Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

- Ability to operate various floor machinery and housekeeping equipment

- Willingness to work in a Labor Management Partnership environment
- Preferred six months experience in environmental services
Job Duties
- Operates and utilizes cleaning equipment including wet mop unit, dust mop, vacuum, automatic floor scrubber, shampoo machine, and carpet extractor
- Cleans patient areas such as restrooms, discharge beds, woodwork, horizontal surfaces, furniture, glass, walls, floors, and replenishes dispensers
- Cleans auxiliary areas including medication rooms, nursing stations, tub rooms, storage areas, staff lounges, exam rooms, waiting rooms, lobbies, elevators, water fountains, and telephones
- Replenishes supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, plastic liners, paper cups, and seat covers
- Reports unsafe conditions and defective equipment
- Ensures sharp objects are disposed of properly and follows safety protocols
- Uses proper body mechanics including lifting techniques
