Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 55 pounds unaided and heavier with assistance
  • Ability to push and pull loaded carts
  • Willingness to work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to pass safety training and certifications
  • Availability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in public and guest areas
  • Post caution signs and coordinate urgent repairs
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms
  • Remove and transport debris, trays, newspapers, linens, and trash from hallways
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
  • Follow safety policies, report hazards, complete safety training and certification
  • Ensure professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Welcome and assist guests including individuals with disabilities
  • Support team goals and maintain quality standards
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting, moving, pushing carts, bending, twisting, and climbing
  • Conduct visual inspections and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
