Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures
- Good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Basic understanding of maintenance issues and reporting protocols
Job Duties
- Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
- Identify and report preventive or maintenance problems in public areas or guest rooms
- Place caution signs as required
- Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
- Organize furniture in guest rooms as needed
- Remove items from hallways to service areas including waste, room service trays, unread newspapers, dirty linens, and trash near maid carts
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
