Job Requirements
- must be a U.S. citizen
- selective service registration required for males born after 12/31/1959
- pre-employment physical required
- subject to background/security investigation
- complete an online onboarding process
- participation in seasonal influenza vaccination program required
- ability to perform continuous physical activity such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, pulling, and pushing
- willingness to work indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions
- ability to handle heavy powered cleaning equipment over 50 pounds
- use of personal protective equipment as required
- commitment to 1-year probationary period

Job Qualifications

- experience in custodial or housekeeping work preferred
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy equipment

Job Duties
- perform light and heavy cleaning duties in patient areas including wards, rooms, and restrooms
- sweep, mop, scrub floors using machines and vacuum carpets
- empty waste baskets and dispose of trash properly
- clean windows, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, and blinds
- refill toilet tissue and towel dispensers
- move furniture to facilitate cleaning
- follow safety and sanitation protocols
