Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- subject to background and suitability investigation
- may serve a probationary period

Job Duties
- Performs floor maintenance, wall washing
- cleans doors, doorframes, baseboard corners and edges, and stairwells
- sweeps, dust mops, wet mops, scrubs, strips, refines, buffs, vacuums and extracts carpets
- spot cleans areas
- adjusts, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on equipment
- empties trash and wastebaskets, replaces liners
- transports general refuse, regulated medical waste, and recycling to collection areas
- cleans restrooms, bathrooms, and shower rooms
- replenishes paper towels, toilet paper, hand sanitizers, and soap
- moves and arranges furniture and patient wardrobes
- provides bed-making services and cleans patient room equipment
- removes and transports soiled textiles
- restocks clean textile closets and participates in inventory management
- defrosts and cleans patient refrigerators and ice machines
- cleans stainless steel surfaces and elevators
- cleans ashtrays, smoke stands, and water fountains
- cleans windows, glass doors, replaces curtains and blinds
- cleans/replaces needle boxes
- periodically cleans non-critical reusable medical equipment
- may guide a Compensated Work Therapy worker and performs other duties as assigned
