Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Pass a background check
- Pass a drug screen
- Provide proof of employment eligibility
- Stand walk squat bend twist kneel and reach continuously throughout a shift
- Push and pull carts or equipment over 100 lb on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
- Handle chemicals including bleach wax and disinfectants
- Operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
- Bilingual a plus
- Must practice good personal hygiene be neatly groomed and be in uniform
- Preferred housekeeping experience including cleaning environmental services custodian janitorial room attendant floor care technician hotel operations or healthcare
Job Duties
- Clean assigned areas of the hospital including patient rooms common areas restrooms and more
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
- Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
- Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
- Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
