Job Requirements
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and guests
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and adjusting focus
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Availability to work flexible schedules including full-time or part-time positions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Combination of education, training, or experience providing necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas
- Clean all floors by vacuuming or washing
- Remove all trash from guest rooms
- Dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards even if not assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
