Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma
- Any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance by cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards regardless of specific assignments
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security policy violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
