Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
- Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
- Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and supervisors
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good physical stamina and ability to meet job-related physical demands
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, regardless of area assignment
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
