Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to work indoors with hard and carpeted surfaces
  • Willingness to follow company safety and security policies
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good physical stamina and ability to meet job-related physical demands

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, dusting and polishing furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, windows, and removing trash from surrounding areas
  • Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, regardless of area assignment
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor when rooms are ready
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
