Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
  • Availability to work flexible schedules
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and security protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning protocols
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform the demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel are up to company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas, etc. for cleanliness and presentation quality
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
