Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hour shifts
- Availability to work flexible schedules
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established cleaning protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform the demands of the job including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive team environment
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are up to company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas, etc. for cleanliness and presentation quality
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
