Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and follow safety protocols
- Physical ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds and stand for eight-hour shifts
- Ability to perform duties indoors and outdoors, including exposure to various weather conditions
- Must be able to provide superior customer service
- Flexible to work full-time or part-time shifts
- Ability to visually inspect cleanliness and presentation standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping/laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting/polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards, even if the area is not assigned to you
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
