Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and follow safety protocols
  • Physical ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds and stand for eight-hour shifts
  • Ability to perform duties indoors and outdoors, including exposure to various weather conditions
  • Must be able to provide superior customer service
  • Flexible to work full-time or part-time shifts
  • Ability to visually inspect cleanliness and presentation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year housekeeping experience with knowledge of housekeeping/laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
  • Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning all bath/kitchen areas, cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing, removing trash from guest rooms, and dusting/polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards, even if the area is not assigned to you
  • Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
