Job Requirements
- Must have some knowledge in the use of cleaning devices such as brooms, mops, buffers and other cleaning equipment
- ability to cooperate and willingness to work under supervision
- must work as scheduled each week including weekends and holidays as needed
- must have a pre-employment and annual tuberculosis screening examination
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental services preferable but not essential
- must have some knowledge in the use of cleaning devices such as brooms, mops, buffers, and other cleaning equipment

- successful completion of pre-employment and annual tuberculosis screening
Job Duties
- Clean and service rooms, baths, lavatories, offices, and facility common areas
- clean window sills, empty trash baskets, dust, polish, sweep, mop, and arrange furniture in an organized fashion
- wash, dry, fold, and dispense linens and residents' clothing
- ensure that clean linen is returned to the linen storage area promptly
- return clean residents' clothing to the appropriate owner
- maintain laundry equipment cleanliness, remove lint from dryers, ensure tumblers are clean and appropriate
- ensure processed linens and clothing are clean, wrinkle-free, and suitable for resident use prior to placing in service
