Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Clean rooms according to assignment
  • report maintenance deficiencies
  • attend guest requests
  • maintain confidentiality and security of rooms
  • follow OSHA training procedures
  • transport cleaning carts with supplies
  • empty trash containers
  • replace linens and towels
  • clean bathrooms removing dirt and hair
  • make beds according to hotel standards
  • restock laundry bags and amenities
  • dust and polish furniture and fixtures
  • realign furniture to floor plan
  • dust inside drawers on checkout rooms
  • inspect furniture and report damages
  • dust and clean doors, curtains, windows, and air conditioning units
  • inspect and replace room accessories
  • vacuum rooms and spray deodorizer
  • update room status in assignment sheet
  • restock and return cleaning carts
  • manage lost and found items
  • clean and replenish coffee sets
  • handle guest complaints
  • report maintenance issues
  • know emergency procedures
  • perform additional cleaning tasks as operations change
