Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work standing for eight hour shifts
- Ability to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Ability to adjust vision for close, distance, color and peripheral vision
- Flexibility to report safety and security violations
- Ability to maintain superior customer service
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including part-time and full-time positions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Any combination of education, training or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning bath and kitchen areas, vacuum or wash all floors, remove trash from guest rooms, dust and polish all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, remove trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public and service areas for quality cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
