- Ability to follow established cleaning and disinfecting procedures
- Knowledge of infection prevention protocols
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Good physical stamina for manual labor
- Ability to interact professionally with patients and staff

Job Duties
- Complete daily occupied and discharge cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas and equipment
- Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare cleaning and disinfecting principles and requirements
- Use safe chemical practices and proper equipment handling
- Maintain cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment according to standard procedures
- Remove and transport waste following proper waste stream handling protocols
- Follow infection prevention practices including hand hygiene and PPE use
- Ensure timely room turnovers for patient throughput
