Job Requirements
- Minimum one year housekeeping experience
- Good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Capacity to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Able to work indoors on hard and carpeted surfaces
- Must be able to stand for eight hour shifts
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions including cold and heat
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of housekeeping experience including good knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Any combination of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Duties
- Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas, cleaning all floors by either vacuuming or washing, removing all trash from guest rooms, and dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
- Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas
- Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned to you
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, service areas, etc. for quality in cleanliness and presentation
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety and/or security violations of policy or guest concerns
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock housekeeping cart with supplies
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
- Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
