Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds standing for 8-hour shifts and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Good vision including close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year housekeeping experience including knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to high school diploma
  • Any combination of education training or experience that provides required knowledge skills and abilities

Job Duties

  • Maintain guest room cleanliness including cleaning all bath and kitchen areas cleaning floors by vacuuming or washing removing trash from guest rooms dusting and polishing all guest room furnishings
  • Maintain outside room appearance including cleaning sliding doors A/C grills windows removing trash from surrounding outside areas
  • Ensure all areas of the hotel meet company standards even if not specifically assigned
  • Visually inspect guest rooms public areas service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation
  • Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations and guest concerns
  • Operate housekeeping equipment and keep supplies stocked by restocking housekeeping cart
  • Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness
  • Always maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests
